“The American Dream: A Motivational Speech for CMA Graduates”
Good morning,
I hope you are doing well.
I have been doing the CMA program (Certified Medical Assistant), and I have to do a speech at the graduation.
I want my speech to be very motivational. In the class, we are all immigrants, my classmates are from Africa, Jamaica, Peru, Costa Rica, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Ecuador, and Italy, or our parents are immigrants I think I should speak about the American dream and the opportunities we are going to have in this country. I also want to show gratitude to the professors and all the people who were there to teach us. The importance of being in the health care facility would open a lot of doors for us and it is one of the most beautiful paths. I would like to talk about the program in general and the experience, it was an amazing class, and I met wonderful people, the effort to get to this point, and the love we put into each of the classes. How everything is going to change and how far we’ve come since we got here. I want to show them I am very grateful, and represent the class in this speech.
I tried to do the speech by myself, I would share it with you in additional materials, maybe it gives you an idea, I like it a little bit but it does not convince me. I need MOOORRREEE, MORE motivation, MORE organization, MORE professionalism, MORE excitement, MORE EVERYTHING, it is just so simple. In other words, I want people to feel identified with my speech, and it touches their hearts, that it serves as motivation to continue studying and working from the heart. I do not want them to be bored.
I have to speak for 3 minutes, I timed myself and it was 450 words for those 3 minutes, I can not put the number of words, that is why I put 2 pages but the maximum would be 450 words.
For the sources, I do not think you need them but it does not let me put 0.
In the speech I was doing, I talk about religion, I do not know if it is the right thing to do because some people have different religions or they just do not believe in God, but this class is different. We all pray when something happens and they are always mentioning God. That is why I put it in my speech, If you think you should include it, you can do it. I do not think they have any problem, but if not even better, it does not matter to me.
