You wrote this paper for me a few months ago, professor stated that it is a literature review and not a PICO(T) question with evidence based information. Attaching the paper you provided and below is the professor feedback. He kind of spells out how it should be formatted. Hoping it will only take a little editing to format the research to match the PICOT.
Also attaching a sample paper from someone else
Population- Nursing Staff in an acute care setting Intervention- Mental Health Support Services Comparison- No mental health support services Outcome- Improved work performance, improved job satisfaction, improved patient outcomes (your selected literature should clearly state the outcomes from their studies) Time- One year after the COVID Pandemic (or any other time you select)
Good start by defining the practice issue of nursing mental health; however, you did not frame it within the context of a PICO(T) question or approach. In order to earn a distinguished designation level, you also needed to note how the exploration of the practice issue will benefit from a PICO(T) approach. Addressing all the components of this criterion in your rubric would earn a higher competency level. Your paper as written, is really doing a literature review to conduct a retrospective study. Unfortunately your topic borders on research instead of conducting evidence based practice. The intent of evidence based practice is to apply current, available evidence to an issue in order to improve outcomes. If you chose to apply EBP to your topic, you would need to formulate a PICO(T) question to fit the topic. For example: P: Nurses working in an acute care facility in a post COVID-19 pandemic environment I: In person, professional mental health services funded at the employer’s expense C: No mental health services provided by the employer O: Reduction in nursing staff absenteeism T: One year or whatever timeline you choose
