Each student will create a graphic representation and written rationale for classroom environment design beneficial for students who have a disability/cultural differences. The focus of this assignment is (a) first to design a classroom that is conducive to students with disabilities/cultural differences and (b) justify your decisions for elements included (e.g., large open aisle to accommodate those with physical impairments, specifically wheel-chair bound, included in the class). Written reports should be no less than one page and no more than 2 pages and visual displays can be done through any computer design program, Microsoft Power point, Word. Legible hand-drawn displays are also acceptable.
