Which i find very interesting and which made me like the book so much.

For this module you will respond to at least two other students’ posts in the Module 6 Discussion about figurative language or favorite books, short stories or poems. In order to earn full credit, each response should be at least three complete sentences AND 50 words!!! Go beyond basic comments like, “Nice answer” to more thoughtful comments relating to the specific details of the post.
As always, keep your responses positive and
respectful. One of the songs that I really like, Life is Beautiful, sang by Lil Peep, has a lot of figurative language all throughout it. The first time I listened to this song was on the 4th of July. I had gone for a drive up into Redington Pass. An example of figurative language from the song could be my favorite lines from the song. “Once you feel unstoppable, you run into an obstacle. Isn’t life comical? I think that life is comical.” I feel like this could use a few different types of figurative language. I see these lines containing inference, as well as verbal irony. I think the first sentence uses inference. As a listener I can see what he is saying and relate to it in my own thoughts. Once life gets good somethings has to happen to get you feeling down again. Once life starts getting good, a challenge or a problem gets thrown in your way. The last few lines of the quote I chose, I see as verbal irony because it talks about how life is comical when some bad happens. It’s sarcasm because when bad things happen to you, they are not typically funny. I enjoy this song because it starts off talking about how life is beautiful. As the song continues however, he starts talking about all the things that are wrong in life, changing the line, “Life is beautiful”, to “Life is horrible”, or “Life is comical”. second; My Favorite book is Percy Jackson and the Olympians by Rick Riordan. It’s about a boy name Percy and his father is Poseidon which I believed he didn’t know about till Grover the goat/satyr took Percy to Camp half-blood it’s a greek demigod training facility somewhere where he can be safe from the monsters. Then he was given a quest to find Zeus’s Master Bolt which they believed Hades has stolen. But Zeus believed that Percy took the lightning bolt and gave him 10 days to find it and return it to him. Then he went on adventures with Grover the satyr and Annabeth daughter of Athena. I like this book because they went to many different places and they fought against medusa and they met with Hades. As they go further in their adventure Percy learns that he has the power to breathe underwater and stay dry. Which I find very interesting and which made me like the book so much. I read this book in middle school and today it’s still one of my favorite books of all time and remains in my head. Every time I get asked what my favorite book is I refer to Percy Jackson and the Olympians.
