week is a continuation of the previous week’s exploration of what
constitutes poverty and the various definitions used within society. You
will also schedule your Virtual Meeting to approve your topic for the
Final Project.
After completing this module, students should be able to:
Define poverty, both in absolute and relative forms
Identify problems with different ways of defining poverty
Synthesize multiple perspectives on poverty into a cohesive, holistic understanding of the concept
Challenge preconceived ideas about what poverty is
