Aspirin is either in prescription or non-prescription. Prescription aspirin is used to relieve symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus, and other rheumatologic conditions, among other conditions. However, non-prescription aspirin prevents heart attacks, reduces fever, and relieves mild pain. Aspirin categories should be stored in dry places and away from heat as a basic necessity for storing medicine. A pharmacist also advises that aspirin be stored at room temperature of 20 C to 25 C (68 F to 77 F) and in a moisture-free environment. The aspirin drugs should also be stored away from the reach of children. Also, it is important to store the drugs in a tight and closed container to avoid moisture, heat, or sunlight.
