We give Facebook and other companies permission to collect a lot of data about ourselves, and as a consequence, they can do a lot with that information. As a marketer, you will need to decide what feels unethical to you, and what targeting practices are ethically acceptable. If you know where you stand, it will be much easier to decide in the moment what is best to do.
