The comparison of data will be taken into consideration in the plan you are outlining for the HIM department.

Discuss the impact errors in data can have on internal and external reporting requirements and the importance of implementing report standards for internal and external purposes. Create a data governance or management plan for the HIM department that addresses the use and impact primary and secondary data sources have on HIM reporting metrics (keep in mind the errors identified in the sample data set).
The comparison should be completed in a memo format (templates from Word can be used). The data governance or management plan should be specific to primary and secondary data used for HIM reporting.
