Relationship Reflection (2 pages, 5 points): For this part of the assignment, you will describe a past relationship experience and connect them to key concepts, theoretical claims, and research findings described in the readings. You will be evaluated based on clarity of explanation, vividness of personal narrative, degree of insight achieved by connecting ideas to experiences, and general writing quality.
Research Reflection (2 pages, 5 points): First, briefly summarize the key components (hypotheses, methods, findings) of the article using 2 to 3 paragraphs (approximately 1 page). Second, connect the findings from the research article to your own personal experience, as well as the course readings (approximately 1 page). You will be evaluated based on the accuracy and clarity of your description of the research article, the degree of insight achieved by connecting ideas to experiences, and general writing quality. Be sure to include the full citation for the article chosen at the end of the paper. (Note: For this section, you should refer to an academic journal article that conducts original research. Popular press books, blogs, websites, newspaper articles, encyclopedia entries, and handbook chapters do not count.
