Name of the book: Introduction to Sociology (Seagull Twelfth Ed..
Search for and download Matchmaker” from the show/movie Fiddler on the Roof.
Use five (5) sociological concepts from Ch. 3 and/or 4 of our text that you found illustrated in it. Name each concept, define it using your own words or a quote from the text (include page #), and indicate the line(s) of relevant lyrics. Post your work. Please type directly onto the Board; do not upload a word document.
Then respond to two (2) other students, commenting on what you liked/agreed with or disagreed with in their posts. Address each student by name. If you are being critical, please be sensitive in doing so!
This Board is worth a total of three (3) points, one for each of the following:
a. Number of posts – 3 are expected, 4 would be better because it would indicate that you moved an exchange of views along;.
b. Length – at least one paragraph for each of your three (3) posts;
c. Content – choice of concepts and how well they are illustrated in your post and critique of others’ posts.
Extra credit is possible – for especially insightful analyses, more than three responses or particularly lengthy responses.
