Some libertarian theorists argue that moral prohibitions on genetic enhancement are a restriction of one’s liberty. For those theorists, whatever one’s money can buy is permissible. After reading about positive eugenics and thinking about our moral principles (justice, autonomy, beneficence, nonmaleficence, etc.), should there be a moral prohibition on genetic enhancements? If so, where does one draw the line and why? If not, why not?
