Download and open the attached Excel file. Input your student ID number into the cell indicated to generate your individual data set.
Analyse your data to answer the five questions using Excel as a tool. Each question is worth 4 marks and the coursework is worth a total of 20 marks.
Create a report in the form of an A4 pdf document and submit this via the submission portal. DASS students: use the same portal and your permitted time extension has been allowed for you.
Clearly state your student ID at the top of the front page of the report.
As a guide, reports should be no longer than four A4 pages. Reports can be produced however you prefer, e.g. Word, hand written, printed Excel spreadsheet pages. Also, figures/graphs can be produced however you prefer, e.g. using Excel, images of hand drawn figures on graph paper. Your answers should explain your methods, reasoning, assumptions and choices as well as final values and figures. Remember to pay attention to correctly reporting answers of suitable accuracy, precision and units as covered in the lectures.
