There are many lenses through which we can analyze literature and literature comes in many forms. Referencing four texts from four different genres we’ve gone over this semester, (songs, poems, short stories graphic novel, film) write an essay that addresses a different literary technique used in each text. Some aspects to consider (that you should have in your notebook) are: theme, setting, magical realism, escapism, imagery, point of view, symbolism, juxtaposition, flashback, foreshadowing or anything else you can think of that works. Back up your comparison with evidence from the texts or film.
