This assessment is recommended for couples, adoption, and foster parenting. In order to complete this assignment, read the Prepare and Enrich article by Olson & Olson (2017). Then, look through all sections of both the facilitator and the couple report. It is best that as you read the article simultaneously follow the reports. Consider printing the reports and article. Then, read the following statement regarding the fictitious couple below:
Rachel and Jason have been dating for three years. They met in college and spent the first year together, in a long-distant relationship, until Rachel moved in with Jason in Houston, Texas after she graduated. They have since lived together for two years. Rachel’s ethnicity is White, with family origin from Scotland and Germany. Jason’s mother was born in Japan and he is ¼ Japanese and ¾ European heritage.
