Make sure you have read the lesson for the week to understand the difference between mergers and acquisitions. State whether it was a merger or an acquisition. Do you think that particular merger or acquisition was necessary and successful? Would you have done anything different if you were making the decision to merge or acquire the new company? Did the merger or acquisition increase profits for the new organization or the parent organization?
